I've said this before, but I grew up in the 60s-70s. We lived in a rural part of Virginia & our neighbors in the farm next to ours had dairy cows. Not a lot, maybe 6 or 7 cows at a time. Every morning we had fresh milk from them. And even THEY KNEW to pasteurize the milk before giving it to us.
