I don't buy GOG or Epic Store games. I will hold out to pressure the devs to be inclusive. It's not one click right off the bat - you still need to install a launcher, register for accounts, etc. I choose not to do that, but understand it's an option for those who want to.

Personally, I'm not interested in third-party launchers and additional plug-ins to make a game work as a "non-Steam" game. My library is full of Steam games with native Deck support including cloud saves and Steam achievements and I'll gladly buy the game if it's released on the Steam storefront.

They went to great lengths to be inclusive for other consoles (Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, PS5 and PS4, and Switch) so hoping PC gets options eventually too. I think a Steam version would sell very well and justify the investment from the devs. Fingers crossed!

I imagine the GOG exclusivity is a result of an agreement between both parties and speaking out against GOG would violate the agreement or, at the very least, not be a good look for the partnership. But I'm hoping the public outcry for a Steam version could mean it's an eventual possibility.

As a Steam Deck gamers, the "PC (GOG)" part hurts. I understand the partnership given GOG's commitment to game preservation, but would love to see an official Steam version as well for native support on Steam Deck! Maybe one day?

I don't have any GOG games and don't use third-party launchers. I'll be holding out for a Steam version for native support. But agreed that the game could be played by using third-party tools (higher barrier of entry).

Yeah exactly. Would love to have it in my Steam library and play natively on the Steam Deck but I'll play it other ways if need be.

The developer went through great lengths to ensure the game is available to as many gamers as possible by releasing on PS5, PS4, Switch, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, etc. So I am hopeful they will eventually release a Steam version as to not exclude Steam Deck gamers which are a rapidly growing segment.

Nope, not technically available on Steam. PC version is releasing exclusively on GOG. You can play GOG games on Steam Deck but it requires a third-party launcher and means no native support/features including Steam achievements and cloud saves. Hopefully it's a timed exclusive! Fingers crossed!

So excited to play! Going to get it for Switch. Would prefer to play on my Steam Deck but I will hold off for an eventual Steam release with native support including achievements and cloud saves. GOG is a no-go for me.

So excited! Will buy the second you release it on Steam to play on my Steam Deck. GOG is a no go.

Couldn't agree more!! Fingers crossed for an eventual Steam version so Steam Deck gamers can enjoy with native achievement and cloud save support! I will not buy on GOG but will hold out for Steam after the exclusivity window is over. @argonautgames.bsky.social
