Trudeau: "I want to speak first directly to the American people. We don't want this. We want to work with you as a friend and ally. We don't want to see you hurt either. But your government has chosen to do this to you. As of this morning, markets are down and inflation is set to rise dramatically."

March 23, 2025 is the 250th anniversary of Patrick Henry's "Give Me Liberty or GIve Me Death" speech. It's worth a listen or a read because I don't think Henry would change much of what he said here if he were alive today. Spread the word #tyrant #tyranny #trump youtu.be/DbghWFMLyiA?...

If the executive branch is making all the decisions about how money is going to be spent then what's the point of lobbying and contributing funds to members of Congress? They will have to suck up to the exec branch now. If congress doesn't control the purse then why talk to them at all?

I work in healthcare for a large system. It's been hard since before COVID, but can we survive higher supply costs due to tariffs, lower Medicare reimbursements, and fewer people with insurance? And now the real possibility of RFK in charge of HHS? Rural healthcare is going to be hit very hard.

First post... I've lived in Seattle most of my life, born at Swedish and raised in Wallingford. I love this city and this state, and I'm proud that unlike most of the nation we moved even further to the left. Science rules, evidence based medicine heals, and love is love.
