part would be seeing how west one sometimes is more profit directed and that's why they print based on pre-order numbers, and while it's not wrong, we've seen a lot of mismanaged money and i rarely can see that happen on jp doujins coz they really just throw money out of love.

i definitely agree though. specially looking how doujin markets currently operate here, and why i'm mostly placing myself on jp market instead 🥴 i remember feeling awful being rejected from a zine and after that it just left me a bad taste. while jp accepts p much everyone if they have slots
