Repost with the first album you bought with your own money.

What do these people think will happen without opposition? Baby brains.

At what point must one stop assuming incompetence and start seeing malice?

You might want to sit down Chuck, because I have some big news for you...

@schumer.senate.gov I'd love to know why there are Democrats voting yes on ANY of Trump's nominees.

Watched Gladiator II (or rather, Gladiiator) tonight and oof. It took them 20 years to make, but it plays like a quickie cash-grab. Baffling.

Have seen some skepticism of Felicity Jones in The Brutalist, and I run pretty hot and cold on her, but she's brilliant here. Tightly coiled, hardened by the war and her health but her perceptiveness and sensitivity still shine through. She's never been better, glad to see the nom.

I actually *do* think reading is virtuous and that people who can read should be embarrassed not to. Also, everybody used to think this.

Another thing with this is people often say this like they're annoyed they haven't heard of them rather than being excited for the opportunity to now check them out.

Watched Somewhere in Time for the first time as my last watch of 2024. What a quiet, beautiful movie. Jane Seymour is radiant in it.

Christmas Fire Pit and Apple Crumble Cake

This was a film I grew up on and always loved. I still watch every few years, and struck anew each time at how beautifully and carefully crafted it is, on top of being so funny and moving.

Something we wont see, but I'd like to, is some reckoning by the Bulwark-type Never Trumpers that this is simply the natural next step in the Republican Party they love so much. They talk about it as if Trump is some anomaly, but he's just the next evolution of the Tea Party, Palin, Gingrich, etc.

Pick a movie, keep one actor. The rest are muppets. The Irishman. Keep Paquin.

Portfolio accepted. Final class period of my final course finished. Love getting a Masters of Public Administration degree just in time for the destruction of the administrative state.
