Excuse me while I go and throw up. www.abc.net.au/news/2025-06...

When bonkers becomes political norm, this...👇 8 US states seek to outlaw chemtrails – even though they aren’t real www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025... "Despite the outlandishness of the belief & complete absence of evidence," 10% believe “completely true” & 20%-30% think “somewhat true”

It's been over 20 years since this clip from Michael Moore's 'Fahrenheit 9/11,' and members of Congress still aren't reading bills before voting for them.

Cuts have consequences, illustrated. As seen on TV 📺

Ladies and gentlemen, your Republican Party. TL;dr: May God have mercy on your souls. We sure as hell won't.

Trump’s new ‘gold standard’ rule will destroy American science as we know it Colette Delawalla, Victor Ambros, Carl Bergstrom, Carol Greider, Michael Mann and Brian Nosek in The Guardian. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Once again, it's not "doxxing" to report the name of a government employee.

Our current administration is filled with crackpots who use AI-generated crap to sound intelligent.

The Liberal Party is a policy free zone.

On ABC Radio National, the final Mingle with Tingle is outstanding. Host David Marr is conducting a lovely, lengthy convo with Laura Tingle about her long career in journalism for her final episode of #LateNightLive. It is superb. 📻 😊 #LNL #auspol #journalism

Ignorance is Strength

This should be the end of Noem’s career in public life. It almost certainly won’t be, however, which is itself damning.

This is a must-read. Csaba Szabó, the author of Unreliable, was approached by a paper mill, and he decided to conduct a sting operation. He documented how paper mills operate. forbetterscience.com/2025/05/19/a...

Micro$oft should be prosecuted for the illegal collection of biometric data from minors. www.theguardian.com/australia-ne...

I have no interest in defending Prasad, but I think it's worth noting that the U.S.'s position on childhood immunization against COVID-19 is out of step with international guidelines. In Australia, children under 18 are only eligible for COVID-19 vaccines if they are seriously immunocompromised.

This is the biggest own goal in history, this destruction of US innovation capacity by the trump regime. (Possibly an even bigger own goal than Brexit). Prof Scott G dissects it here: Brain Drain https://www.profgalloway.com/brain-drain/

No matter who the LP elects as their "leaders" they are doomed to rinse and repeat because the current crop of LP members are talentless hacks dedicated to the same failed "policies"... www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Gosh, it’s a battle of the giants, isn’t it . I wouldn’t feed either of ‘em.

A dynamic, accomplished, brilliant woman loses her seat to this snivelling, obnoxious little wreath snatcher Seriously, Goldstein..WTAF??!🤦‍♀️

Excellent article from @jamesheathers.bsky.social posted by ‪@gidmk.bsky.social‬. Read it and weep for the future of the BMJ as a quality medical publisher...

So many lies. Hard to keep up. MMR vaccine doesn’t contain ‘aborted fetus debris’, as RFK Jr has claimed theconversation.com/the-mmr-vacc... "What the evidence does show, however, is that vaccines like the MMR vaccine offer excellent protection against deadly and preventable diseases..."

Whatever your politics, I think we can all agree that our electoral system is infinitely better than rotten, corrupt, toxic shambles they have in the United States.

Trump's executive order to gut funding for public media (including NPR and PBS) will cut off news sources for millions. That’s exactly what he wants: to exert even more control over the information that the public receives – or doesn’t even receive at all. It’s a hallmark of dictatorship.
