I read the tea leaves. Sony and From have squashed their beef. The remaster is on. The sequel is in development

i was talking more in terms of aesthetics, like how the concave lenses used for correcting my nearsightedness make my eyes appear slightly smaller.

Idk glasses with actual corrective lenses can really fuck you up, the way they'll distort the size of your eyes

I'm hooked by the characters and the scenarios that Nathan puts them through as well as how he relates them to his own experiences and psychology, but there's also the initial premise of how bad communication between captain and co-pilot contribute to plane crashes that's so interesting by itself

Sneak archer/sniper were your picking off enemies from afar is another thing, though. That's satisfying in the same way that popping blacheads is

Or it might inspire some really annoying patients lol

the show really imparts the psychological strain of working a trauma unit and how much mental fortitude it requires just to survive, yet i feel like this show might inspire a lot of people to study medicine because it lowkey looks like a fun and - in the truest sense of the word - rewarding job

i love the realism, especially that they keep the esoteric medical language and dont explain everything. it's like when you're getting a check-up at the dentist and the one probing your teeth is saying numbers to the assistant on the computer and you're just in awe that they understand each other..

I have a bigger appreciation for the art of weaving stories composed of multiple characters. This season they had the Ratcliffe patriarch who's interesting on the onset, but once it was clear to him that he was screwed it was just several eps of him being sedated and/or occupied by suicidal ideation

i'm watching it now and the scene is actually really cool, it's just that the music is just purely atmospheric, with no percussion or sense of urgency for that matter, so if you're watching late at night there's nothing there to jolt you back from your sleepyness

the most nauseating oversaturated color grading of some flat post card-tier pastoral england landscape with bowie super-imposed on the the foreground, assumably looking out at the scenery, back against us caspar david friedrich style rocking the union jack coat
