I appreciate that, but I reported here on Bluesky on Wednesday that Dudek was being placed on admin leave for circumventing the chain of command before his promotion. As far as I can tell, I was the first, and there is no acknowledgement of that. My piece Thursday expanded on it w/ addtl reporting.

One immediate action from Senate democrats is to block any up/down voice vote and hold hearings for each and every one of the new General/Admiral confirmations. The Republicans can win the votes, but the process to vote on each of these nominations will take time. Grind them down!

I am thrilled to have others build on my reporting and use sources I don’t have to create a fuller picture of what’s happening. I truly believe we are in this together. But calling it a scoop and erasing my work is just really upsetting.
