Season 7 felt like they ran out of ideas. There were gems, but damn.

I didn't like that they fridges K'ehlyr. I did like that Worf showed that he's braver and a better fighter than Trump, er Duras.

My response to the WaPo headline: "Ya think?!?!" He's a liability to that company now. No two ways about it.

Generations felt like a checklist of things that needed to be done and the writers gave that impression to me in interviews I read. The best part of the movie was the Kirk and Picard exchange where Kirk tells Picard not to retire, or let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship.

Funny. You would think he and Jellico would have seen eye to eye a little more, that being the case.

It's a hard thing. At that point, one couldn't serialize, and status quo was God. In the end, nobody wanted to leave the show. Unfortunately, Riker didn't get anymore character development until Nemesis, when it was, "I'm taking the command Starfleet offered".

I hated when that happened. I would make things record so I could fit 6 hours onto the tape just to prevent that, after having it happen when I wanted to watch something.

When I was their age, I had to wait 3 months for the second part of my two-parter. We didn't stream. We didn't even tivo. We had to record on a VHS. After walking 30 miles to school, uphill both ways in the snow.

I remember watching this for the first time in 1990 and my brother and I being gobsmacked by this ending and having to wait 3 months to see how this turned out.

If Bruce Dickinson said he needs more cowbell, why don't I hear a lot of cowbell in Iron Maiden songs?

This album makes me want to go Back In Time. Such great music. That's The Power Of Love. This isn't just a pop album. It's The Heart of Rock & Roll. It has Heart and Soul. Bad ain't Bad here. I don't Want a New Drug. Because This is It and I let you know.

It may have been the lighting, but I felt that after the change, Picard's frown looked deeper, and his face looked more grim overall. His voice sounded deeper as well.

This whole scene with Ron Jones' score for it makes me want to cry every time. This, and "The Visitor".
