Slingshots, rocks, had a very young child aim a handgun at my face. Kids were very grabby and in your face. What was once the deadliest city on earth and I came home without firing a single shot. 2/2 deployments with the USMC and zero shots fired on my part.

Born in 1988. The holocaust was the biggest take away from public schooling for me. Every book, every movie, every story ever told had a message. Messages that were never accepted as lessons. I’ll never understand why. We were gifted knowledge by those who bled before us. We just didn’t care.
