I can't believe I forgot the most important one that's really helped. "Don't be afraid to bleed on the page". That one always stuck with me I learned it a while back from an instrumental figure in my writing journey. She encouraged me to put my personal experience within the fabric of the story.❤️

A couple have hit me over the years. "Trust your gut, even if you have to spill some" "Who's story are you telling?" Definitely hit me and made me think on both. It's helped tremendously when revising beyond the initial and dreaded first draft.
