Like what did they expect! It'd be fine if the kid was a bit older and was capable of processing things like that properly, but bringing a toddler to events like that and teaching them that they will have a harder more dangerous life because of it isn't good for the kid bro.

or you could make it abt someone with intrusive thoughts that doesn't know what intrusive thoughts are so they spiral everytime they have them and wonder constantly if they are a good person and that's the whole conflict of the story.
But I think I'd prefer one where it isn't the focus od the story.

I had ships before this, but they are 1. too freaky to talk abt, idc if I was like 10. and 2. I kinda knew they were too freaky(but I didn't understand why), so I wouldn't talk abt them to my friends, so they never got as obsessive as they could have been.
