i mean, she's not wrong, but that phrase sounds so fucking boring "siempre he tenido" = "I always had" ⭐⭐⭐ "ya tenia yo" = "already I had" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (i promise it sounds better in spanish)

an example i just did for an assignment is "I had deep respect for nature", and i translated as "Ya tenía yo un gran respeto por la naturaleza", but my teacher said that's confusing, change it for "siempre he tenido un gran respeto por la naturaleza"
