This is absolutely the way to deal with #dementia, personally, or professionally. But, doing it requires learning, understanding, a lot of practice, and energy. Most "carers" are poorly, or un-paid, minimally or un-trained, incredibly tired, and, often, subject to unrealistic expectations.
