I think it’s the fact that as the days churn on, and more and more happens, we aren’t seeing anything tangible coming from those who *we* elected. We’re asking for something, anything, so we know they are trying because the optics of it is that they aren’t doing much and it’s disheartening.

Many schools *do* offer cooking or automotive classes, but they are electives and done solely by choice. Also, personal finance is a graduation requirement here.
Before coming for education, which this administration is already trying to do, reach out to your local schools to see what they offer.

Those of us in education teach math, English, science, history, foreign language, computers, physical education, music, art… any of the *required* courses for graduation within a district.
We can’t teach everything in 180 6-hour long days.
