my old hyperfixation was green lantern: the animated series. excellent romance, lovely art style (cgi, but actually held up), but sadly only one season with a bittersweet ending. you could also do kaguya-sama: love is war. one of my favorite quirky animes, super hilarious and the romance is 😚👌

i had a friend mention things haven't been the same since voltron and honestly? that was certainly the beginning of the end I think as well. People want things to be canon exclusively that they don't even bother to be imaginative anymore, they just wanna be spoon fed content without adding to it 🙄
