Boomer is IN NO WAY equivalent to a racial slur. I agree! And said Boomer might want to examine why they are so tweaked by it.
I envision human behaviors on a sliding scale: ignore, dismiss, be rude, mean, cruel, all at different points on the scale. Helps me understand my own behavior.

Woke is a word we now use to indicate something that makes us uncomfortable and perhaps should examine why. I say this as a white-haired boomer lady who sometimes says the wrong thing but is always trying to do better.

I’m interested! Many listen to audiobooks while driving but I require the visual stimulus of the written word to stay engaged. Also when listening to music containing lyrics, as some do to fall asleep, that keeps me awake. I’m a singer who learns best by listening. It’s all connected somehow.
