NASA and SpaceX will wait until Friday to try the Crew 10 launch again. 7:03 pm ET

#Crew10 As presented on the live stream, here's the unofficial logo for the Crew 10 mission... Anne McClaine the Mission CDR is depicted as the little panda. The rest of the crew are depicted as Giraffes.

Pickles solve many problems. Like, a good pickle fixes something in your soul.

So. Can anyone recommend some good English-language sources/accounts for Chinese space news?

I said when Isaacman's name was first floated that we would finally find out whether he loved space or the cult of personality more. I hoped for the former, but I knew in my heart that it was going to be the latter.

So they're disappearing activists now. Cool. Cool. Completely normal. Nothing to see here.

The Mercury 13 were thirteen American women who in 1959-60 took part in a privately funded research program run by physician William Randolph Lovelace II, a private contractor to #NASA, which aimed to test and screen the women for spaceflight #InternationalWomensDay en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercury...

Happy International Women's Day to every woman who works-- whether it's in the home, in the office, on the land, in the factories and warehouses, in the water, in the sky, or anywhere else. You hold up half the sky and deserve dignity, safety, respect, self-determination, and full human rights.

Few things suck more on a personal level than having a very specific craving for something I haven't bought in over 10 years and finding out it has become one of the most egregious examples of shrinkflation I've ever seen. Fuck you, Oreo. "Double Stuf" is a damned lie.

🤔I wonder if there's anything new about the relationship between SpaceX and FAA lately that might be worth mentioning...I seem to recall something, hazily... www.politico.com/newsletters/... www.cnn.com/2025/02/25/b...

Starship is a joke

Sorry for the jumpscare

We'll say it again because certain people need to hear it: pay for federal workers accounts for just 4.3% of the budget. If the federal government were to fire every single worker, it would only reduce government spending by less than 5%. What DOGE is doing is just cruelty.

Hahahahaha oops. Guess I'm getting put on another list. 🙃 (PS- if you don't already follow @means.tv you should.)

Elon Musk is now also pushing for the ISS to be deorbited as soon as 2027 instead of the current plan of 2030. Notably that is approximately how far out that Dragon is currently capable of supporting with its fleet without another crew vehicle, as each is currently only certified for 5 flights.

Gulf of Gronp

Sometimes I open a link while browsing my very dark mode apps, and the white background of the website is so bright, I turn down the volume on my phone.

We are also getting this messaging from our union. No online shopping, no restaurants, no fast food, nothing other than what is absolutely necessary (such as health/safety).

Looks like Google Maps got tired of receiving so many corrections.

Some anti-Valentines from NASA for those of us who aren't "feeling the love" this year. These might end up in some interagency e-mails the way things are going. twitter.com/NASAKennedy/...

Deadnames that are ok to use: 1. Twitter 2. Gulf of Mexico 3. That's about it, I think.

🚨An open letter to the Democrats. 🚨 Get off your fucking letter writing asses and do something, anything that is not the norm. Every fucking one of you is still acting like the kid in HS that spent his time with model Gov or junior UN haveing debates full of platitudes and quips to win your point.

One of my favorite things about a close-knit, enduring group of friends is the deep lore. A shared absurd experience becomes a running joke. Someone gives something a silly name once in passing and you all still use it years later. And none of it makes sense to anyone else.

Since Google Maps seems to be displaying some made-up names for certain places, you can report those errors when you spot them. www.wikihow.com/Report-a-Pro...
