i think lrt is good advice in that you need to fall in love with the process of making a comic AND also need a good sounding-board of friends you can show WIPs to, because it takes so long to get to an end product. But you can also just find a way to make the boring stuff interesting to look at

I often dream about having a button I could press where I could temporarily forget everything I know about drawing so that I could do a few studies as a complete beginner. I really wish I had learned proper foundations etc from the start. It's so hard to see your drawings how they are objectively
