I've been waiting on buying my mini packs for this year for this very reason. If there is no Vladdy extension, I'm not buying a pack. I'll choose a Verlander start and see both of them and that'll be it this year live.

That ship sailed. He's going to FA.

No. Enough talented women now we don't need to see her anymore. Continue focusing on establishing new stars.

You are correct. Roger's doesn't have to worry about TV deals. They don't have to worry about local competition. They don't even have to worry about out of market competition on TV as they are the ones whom control that schedule.
Zero impetus 2 change the status quo when the accountants are happy.

The best walk that line between shoot/character and this guy does it better than almost anyone.

The business side. Which has been doing pretty well during this mind numbing stretch much to my chagrin.
Until the numbers move, makes sense to them to stay steady and pay for those renos.
The failures could be sold (until last year) as a failure of the players, not the org. We're screwed, lol.

Premium paid to get a guy when you have no home stadium.
Wish him nothing but the best. Was a rock solid Jay.

Killing someone is never ok. Never.
But when you push desperate people to make desperate decisions, this is what can happen.
CEO pay is at astonishing levels and his compensation is directly related to not supporting people's health needs....but this isn't an answer. It won't & can't be.

You honestly have no idea.
None.
Your guess is as good as and worth as much as mine.
Your anger is funny. Your condescending replies aren't.
My sub won't be renewed. Have a good evening.

Then maybe you should clarify that rather than implying it would never happen.
Jon Morosi didn't just report Ohtani on a plane for nothing.
It absolutely happens. And the Jays are as capable of it as anyone else and this situation screams for it.

Or should I say leaking information.
comment in response to

Right.
Your stance is no pro sports team has ever tried to control a narrative by releasing information? That's so laughable and naive.

Money doesn't mean much when you're as far away as the Jays. They'd have to just massively overpay a guy to overlook all the things I listed.
Risk their credibility? That's a laughable stance. They are reporting what they are being fed right now. Nothing different than last year.

This is 100% correct. Just be a viable, chill alternative.

Stupid Justin Beiber jerseys. They need to burn these.

Worst farm. Worst prospects. Last in the division.
Top 2 players not currently signed with no news of anything imminent.
Why in the world - even with the highest bid - would he come here?
This smells like a leak from the Jays to say "we tried, again".

It was certainly ugly. They all look like they are skating in quick sand.

If this was the vince days I would say that absolutely is how they are ending it. However, the new creative direction doesn't really seem to make these impulsively ridiculous decisions anymore. So i'm going with you and hoping that he can again wrestle one day.

They may not have a choice. The issue is the pieces they need aren't just "guys". Not too often are those pieces left after the music stops.
Interesting times ahead.

He's been gone for too long. Was way too talented, and I hope that he's able to make a return safely in the future.
