I'm not entirely convinced it's all Daniel Levy's fault that Spurs insist on making the exact same mistakes in every single game.

Idea for content: Watch Spurs at the pub, put a camera on yourself, have a shot every time they give away the ball in their own half for no discernible reason.

FOOTBALL WEEKLY They said it couldn't be done but here it is, 18 Champions League games from last night analysed with ruthless efficiency plus time left for the natural wine world to shout at us @robyniocowen.bsky.social @barryglendenning.bsky.social @larssivertsen.bsky.social Mark Langdon

Episode 102: Turkish delight "Full stadiums and fans who make you feel like Jesus". I'm in Istanbul with Andy Brassell, who tells us about Ole's most recent wheel, Mou being Mou, and Galatasaray's Bosporus Galacticos. Sc: soundcloud.com/user-7212855... Sp: open.spotify.com/episode/4S5P... Etc.

The end of three games in three days in Istanbul with great company @larssivertsen.bsky.social & @rory-evans1.bsky.social. Plenty of @otcpod.bsky.social YouTube content to come - to start, here’s us on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s brilliant debut as Beşiktaş coach youtu.be/hFrrIqnVWfI?...

I picked a hell of a week to lose my voice.

If I had to watch Everton every week I'd probably be Dyche out as well, but still worth bearing in mind that he kept a pretty awful squad in the league at a pivotal point in their history.

More horrendously lost balls in the Spurs half than at a eunuch convention.

I can see why it would be 70% off.

With United, assumption has always been that because they have so much money they will eventually get good again. But what if they just... don't?

In fairness to Ange, I think a lot of people are entertained by this.

If there's a table for "Expected Foolishness", Spurs must be riding high.

It really is a very silly sport.

Inside scoop from Gary O'Neil's severance negotiations.

Marc Cucurella's decision to play in crocs really backfiring here.

tomorrow's @theguardian.com Football WEekly @larssivertsen.bsky.social @barryglendenning.bsky.social @chrispaouros.bsky.social @will-unwin.bsky.social Any questions?

Straight red two minutes in? Libertadores final almost too on the nose here. But hey, give the people what they want. We tune in for chaos, we get chaos.

(it is also less than 10% of what United paid for Antony)

Fun fact: According to their most recent accounts, Bodø/Glimt's entire annual wage bill is less than what it cost Manchester United to fire Erik ten Hag.

Handball law update: Still the worst. So bad. Stinky, stinky law.

City looked like a team that needs a break. Good thing is the English fixture list is famously light and breezy in December so that's going to work out fine.
