I wish our city would design roads and intersections better. I also wish there were red light cameras at every intersection. And fully independent light cycles for pedestrians and cyclists. The danger is drivers. We need better safeguards against them.

My coworker has been sick for going on 3 weeks, but I'm the only one saying the C word. Everyone else is like "weird cold" and "flu???" and I'm over here like, naw, probably covid! π»

The one with all the same colours, the one with all the same numbers, and the one with all the face cards... did I miss any?
So I'd say no.

Ah yes, the seasons progress from Trucks on MUPs Around Transit Stations Only to Trucks Everywhere All The Time.

That fencing was all removed late last Fall, and the staging area graded over. I was hoping that meant something good.

From what I've seen, the MUP thru Westboro Beach is the standard width, what, ~2 meters? It's built. But covered in debris, and only accessible via mild trespassing, currently.

I dunno, but I'm pretty tired of it.
Now that the pathway is 99% clear, my commutes on Scott will be far less frequent.

Yes, you can still use the usual path under the parkway, but there's no official detour set up. The paved goat-track across the field on the south side will no doubt have some flooding for the next little while.

I came across that a few times today.

One of the few times I *really* wished I had a dashcam. It was the kinda thing that doesn't seem real unless you watch it happen.

I saw someone suggest walking the tracks that extend from the bridge, and that they meet TΓ’chΓ©?
Don't quote me tho, I have no knowledge of geography on the Gat side.

I didn't see any signage last night, I just went across and back.

So there's been nothing opened to get around the site eh? Is traffic using the west bound lanes past the Beach, or is it detoured to the south side and back over still?

I would love to ask "why do you want your car to sound like explosive diarrhea??" and see what they say. π

Ope, looks like I'll be avoiding Elgin St for a while yet, as I usually do because it's a car sewer with shitty bike parking.
Someone let me know when the hockey stuff is done, cuz I do wanna visit Boogie and Birdie soon.
