I don't know what the exact grade is, but this one on Olney Street in Providence RI is pretty steep and sees good usage since this is a main connector between East Side neighborhoods and the Whole Foods plaza at the bottom of the hill.

That's why I always carry a silver money clip with a crisp $50 bill in it to toss away at the first sign of trouble. Street Smarts!

My town does a food truck event which is just awful all-around. It's in a huge parking lot with no shade, and the trucks are all clustered together, each with their own generator making lots of noise and pollution. Service takes forever and prices are double what they'd be in a brick & mortar shop

This sure as hell beats the car dropoff line at school, I can tell you that much

Too much studying, not enough doing. Endlessly frustrating, and it's been like this since I was a kid at least, and probably earlier.

sorry, 195 west - but both directions would be even better!

195 East needs a bus lane so badly. Such crap to be moving so slowly on a full bus because of so many single occupancy cars

any truth to the rumor that the negated highway gantries will be repurposed for Troll Tolls?

An amazing example of what can be done with an awful expanse of concrete like it used to be.

Herzog, who was battling alcoholism, told STAT and the Boston Globe that he was not intoxicated when he arrived at the LA studio. In his dressing room, he said, he found a bottle of Smirnoff vodka. He drank all of it. Then someone handed him a Xanax, he said, telling him it would βcalm his nerves.β

There's one way.. an easy 2 seat train ride, it's just that one of those seats takes 23 hours and the other takes another 8 and only runs 3 times a week, and the transfer point is Chicago. Oh also the layover is 8 hours and you'd arrive in Cincinnati at 3:30AM

The Royal Tenenbaums is one of my all time favorite movies, and I liked Darjeeling Limited, but I find most of the rest of his films pretty forgettable.

I will say that a good corn muffin split in half and grilled in a pan with butter is pretty pretty good.

I just looked into it and I figured it was some long standing homage to the native population that taught the colonists to grow corn, but nope - just some schoolkids in the 1980s who liked corn muffins
