I object on aesthetic and maybe quasi-moral grounds to language like “devout” and “deeply religious” in this context. If his fanaticism adhered to a different faith, he’d get “fanatic,” “extremist,” “zealot” etc. Perverting the Cross to commit murder exempts you from “devout”

In Minnesota, first-degree murder charges require an indictment by a grand jury. This is mandated by Minnesota Statutes § 609.185 and § 628.61. It will happen.

I foolishly told myself for awhile that I didn't really need a cargo bike because I don't have kids. But I finally realized that wasn't true at all and use mine so much for so many different situations, even just riding for fun because the Bullitt is a completely awesome bike.

Cargo bikes are for everyone! At an event today someone asked “what would people who don’t have kids even use a cargo bike for?” For hauling stuff &/or people, just like parents do! We originally got a cargo bike to haul our kids, but we use it to transport other stuff every single week. 1/2

There’s going to be so much spent on this municipal election. The wealthiest people in Minneapolis and the suburbs will be financing it because they can’t control the City Council. We can combat this if we’re organized. We need help calling, knocking, and talking to neighbors around the city.

I keep thinking about why big newsworthy things keep happening here and I do think that our status as a trans refuge state and an abortion rights state has a lot to do with it. That historic session that improved things for so many is why they hate us.
