You are, as always, sweetly enchanting! Here’s me, heavily edited, shot with my iPhone 15 Pro Max, edited in Hipstamatic. #iphonography #iphoneonly #photography

Yes, I’ve heard much the same in conservative Christian spaces.

Thank you so much! It was indeed scary — and isolating. I was very lucky to have my husband, who was a true rock thru it all.

Yes indeed. I had to deal with that during my double pneumonia and recovery. Couldn’t walk up the stairs. Had to sponge bath downstairs and sleep in the daybed in the family room. Very humbling.

Oh I hope it’s traveling! It would be such a shame to lock it up. The great museums have so many amazing works that aren’t on view. Wish they would loan them to other institutions that would display them instead.

Here’s the full work. “Shah Jahan on a Terrace, Holding a Pendant Set With His Portrait", Folio from the Shah Jahan Album, painted by Chitarman (Indian, active ca. 1627-70), ink, opaque watercolor, & gold on paper, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.

The New York Times ran an amazing in-depth article about this work back in 2021. If interested, here’s the link, with no paywall. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

Here’s the result. It’s an on-the cheap costume. You can tell I’m not a serious cosplayer. But the longest pose was 10 minutes. Great fun! I’m wearing a mask because I’m immunocompromised. Having just recovered from double pneumonia I don’t want to get sick again!

You are gorgeous. As always! Here’s me on my way to cosplay in my cheap knockoff Star Trek outfit. The rest goes on when I get there. Zombie Red Shirt is my theme.
