Yes - facts vs human greed, jealousy and fear. That’s the way I see things happening right now. A lot of people prefer to live their lives the easy way by choosing to believe information that fuels their specific weaknesses, even when the information is proven false - thus digging in heals.

I believe you are right. We need the right kind of “salesman” to bridge the gap between the scientists and the public. That was always a problem my dad faced - he hated the politics required to climb the ladder to higher positions. I’m sure that’s the case with most or all credible scientists.

MY father was a nuclear physicist at ORNL for over 30 years. He was the head over several nuclear fusion experiments. When he retired, he said that our best options for energy would be from wind and solar. He said this decades ago.

That’s pitiful! Why would anyone want such an ugly, useless piece of crap? I’m all for electric vehicles but this design is hideous and dysfunctional .

I am listening more to local media. I catch up on details on MSNBC and CNN - I try to listen when they are interviewing politicians instead of watching anchors’ opinions.

This was the short version. After giving it a lot of thought and gathering the courage to do it, the fat cat successfully leapt onto the cat tree. I was relieved he didn’t tip it over.
