Also, many small businesses are struggling because their clients want estimates before hiring them and they cannot get estimates on the materials they will need or ETAs on arrival.

They are stealing the power handed to you by the tri-part government outlined in the Constitution for themselves. So tell me: what will you do?

What do you plan to do about the rampant destruction of our Constitution? It's your job as a member of the legislative branch to legislate. To write laws. The people pushing " unitary executive theory" aren't doing you any favors. (More)

They don't now.

Should be relatively easy to tell looking at buy/sell patterns and ratios.

These are not mutually exclusive. You can absolutely be a psychopath and act rationally--you don't need a conscience for that.

Which all happened bc the legislature abdicated their power. They could have refused to allow any of those appointments, refused to allow him to set up and fund DOGE.... Yes, he's terrible, but they could have stopped this mess.

Nope. We do not have a unitary executive. The Constitution is very clear on that. The legislature (Congress /Senate) make laws. The executive branch (President) cannot make laws, he can only veto them. In fact, our Constitution basically says that the Prez can't do anything w/out approval.

Before you can translate them onto impeachment votes, you need to bring these people into local networks and develop plans.

Even if that's the truth, which is entirely possible, one of the great things about these protests is that they allow people to meet like-minded folk so they can join together in grassroots networks.

Mike Lawler sent me one of these typical "I'm pretending I care about your opinion" one question polls the other day. I doubt he was prepared for what he got back. 😂😂😂

Yup. Pressure automakers, home builders, liquor distributors, companies like Chipotle (McDonald's) which use avocados imported from Mexico and Target/Walmart, where most everything is made in China. Big biz is who he listens to. Put pressure on them to pressure him.

No. And destabilizing the banking system is part of the plan.

I highly recommend these guys for when the fresh fruit/veg--currently either imported or harvested by migrant labor--simply disappears. Form your own buying block with neighbors so you can afford to stock up. www.beprepared.com/collections/...

The first "cozy mysteries" I ever read were by Diane Mott Davidson and you could gain weight just reading the books. Every recipe had about a pound of butter. 😂😂😂

This is what I've been advising local fire departments where I live--the majority of firefighters in this country are volunteers. Welcome local Latino populations. It's not political (politics are expressly forbidden in the firehouse), but they will quickly see who cares about them and who doesn't.

I used to run a multi-author crime novel blog where we had an occasional column called "Cooking the Books" in which one of us would try out a recipe from a novel. We had...varying levels of success.

My husband and I splurged for a hotel room (not super fancy, but but clean with air conditioning) in Puerto Rico. We mostly ate street food and had a fabulous time.
