I assume that the point of mentioning them is to highlight that the methods they developed were in service of eugenics? You can't assume the reader knows this about them, so I don't see how you have that sentence *without* calling them eugenecists.

The examples I’m thinking of are from books outside my field. It’s not that the whole section is alphabetical, but things like “thanking my writing group A, B, C, D and E.” Every so often there is a list that is clearly alphabetical EXCEPT X and I really wanna know what is behind the exceptions.

Deviations from alphabetical order make me desperately curious. Who are they to you !?

Some of us never forgot! I got stickers on homework for a grad class in my first year (multivariate at Bryn Mawr) - I always return my own lab assignments (& all kinds of other things) with stickers!

I teach it as a much smaller class (usually 32) but am happy to share all my materials so you can use whatever is useful! If you email me I treat my inbox like a to do list.

R, which I frequently teach in, has huge limitations for pedagogy. More time spent on teaching coding is needed. Coding is a great skill, but it can get in the way of basic comprehension. It’s also terrible for trouble shooting for new users.

My honest answer is “Dianne Chambless’ grad students” but I can see if I can track down a more legitimate reference :)

OMG yes you do. Let me know if you need help or emotional support/encouragement. You know how good I am at bureaucracy and I still cried so much at this process. It was worth it!

I assumed this was about airport terminals and I 100% believe there are also physical and social laws about them, too 😂

I teach the scientific method in intro psych by showing them learning styles aren’t real. We come back to it later in the semester, too, so they don’t forget!
