A pic popped up today to remind me we closed on our suburban home 9 years ago. After almost 8 years in NYC&15 in Chicago,it was very difficult for my hubs to talk me into leaving the city. I got a letter from Mohela today, confirming my student loans are 100% paid off. 💜🎉💪🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 For reference, I’ll be 50 on my next birthday and I only have undergraduate degrees - I graduated from a dual degree program so I have 2.Still. It took too long to hit this milestone.Wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

As a Jew who doesn’t subscribe to over- decorating for Hanukkah, this time of year still makes me so happy. I love seeing cars with fresh trees on top, knowing they’re going to get decorated. I get so happy each time I turn onto my street, thanks to my neighbor who really does it up in their yard. 🎄
