I’ve officially retired my old work waistcoat. It’s served me for the best part of 9 years but it’s one burger away from buttons pinging someone in the face. No matter though; a replacement has been sought after. 46 waist. 😩

Working on a train sim scenario where you take the 1323 from Dover Priory to Victoria via Chatham in an 8CEP. Using the 2003 working timetable - pre HS1! - using slammers and networkers. The 4VEP/ 4CIG combo has just come in from Charing Cross via Tonbridge. The smell of the brake dust. 💕

Yes, Heathrow needs a third runway. The capacity to have simultaneous arrivals all day would be fantastic. However, there needs to be serious consideration to public transport infrastructure including a HS2 station, increased frequency of the Piccadilly and Elizabeth lines and better buses.
