I wear a VR headset 8 hours a day instead of using a monitor. Rather than being stuck in my office, I’m transported to a beautiful park where I’m John Goodman using a laptop computer. People keep stopping to say “Wow, John Goodman! I’m a big fan” and I angrily snap back “Can’t you see I’m working?”

One reason why the South Korean people were able to so effectively mobilize in support of democracy is because they live in a small country where millions are just a subway ride away from the seat of government. This is true in France, the UK, etc. It is remarkably false in the US and Canada.
