Loads of the farmers came through Hendon, most leaning on their horns. Fair enough, it's a protest, whichever side I'm on. The weird thing was the number of novelty tune horns, and the 25-30 tractors who had Sandstorm by Darude as their novelty tune. Who said rave wasn't political?

If this were Just Stop Oil, there'd have been dozens of arrests, furious denunciations in the billionaire press and, perhaps, long jail sentences. Event cinema is a pox, drawing audiences who want to be seen to be consuming exclusive content, rather than audiences who want to engage with a film. Refusing to show a film online or on physical media is ableist, classist, and goes towards the general trend of pricing people out of access to art.

Today is a good news day for arts funding across the board in Scotland. Can feel relief all round. Great to see Aye Write festival, Glasgow CCA, rise from the ashes. StAnza, PTBO, BPOC w/group, I Am Loud secure for next 3 years. Well done to Creative Scotland & Scot Govt getting their acts together.

This is a great piece, but i think that the rot goes further, and often stops meaningful exchanges everywhere. I have spent a lot of time at work responding to someone pointing at a thing and squealing "I mean..." with a query as to what they actually do mean.
