I get to feel this way about both folks who are sober and folks who are battling cancer, and while I would not recommend either becoming an alcoholic or getting cancer, it's great to be able to root for folks in one very specific way, sometimes.

I am once again being told by Kaiser that there's nothing wrong with me despite OBVIOUS PHYSICAL EVIDENCE to the contrary. I will remind you these folks missed my stage iv cancer for ~6mos. MEDICAL SEXISM HAS GOT TO STOP. PERIOD. This is utterly maddening.

I had a (very bad) adverse reaction to my first chemo treatment today. If the nurses had been slower, I might have died, type reaction, according to my vitals. So of course my mom minimized it immediately because I'm always hysterical and never exactly fucking right about everything all the time.

Good evening! You will have to get used to me no longer being Sick Girl on this platform. There may be an end in sight to this punishing fatigue soon. Took me way too long to suss out that bad fatigue might be an infection and not just Tuesday, but it's starting to look like I'm actually sick!
