I get to feel this way about both folks who are sober and folks who are battling cancer, and while I would not recommend either becoming an alcoholic or getting cancer, it's great to be able to root for folks in one very specific way, sometimes.

Hands down 100% Santeria. I will fight anyone who thinks otherwise.

transphobes need to be treated as repugnant as racists, which is easy because most of them also are

DOGE is like if Fyre Festival was a government agency.

AAAAAAAAAAAA

I am once again being told by Kaiser that there's nothing wrong with me despite OBVIOUS PHYSICAL EVIDENCE to the contrary. I will remind you these folks missed my stage iv cancer for ~6mos. MEDICAL SEXISM HAS GOT TO STOP. PERIOD. This is utterly maddening.

attempting to describe the vibes of the moment. have yet to do better than: "imagine watching a documentary reenacting the burning of the Library of Alexandria set to the soundtrack of 'Yakety Sax'"

I need someone to look into why I have Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm by Crash Test Dummies stuck in my head and report back to me.

i hope they show my tweets to that ceo guy when he gets to the afterlife as part of his hell wrapped

i love those rare times where some rich guy dies and everyone hoots and hollers, which causes other rich people, and people who are under the delusion that they will be rich some day, to realize how much they are hated and have an existential crisis

anybody can start a podcast. my goal *pulling out a sword* is to stop one

Writers: this new Freewrite promo has got me all ajumble. Is it worth it? Should I buy one? Is it finally time for me to Get Serious? Halp!

we’re 5 DAYS into 2024 & *125* anti-trans bills have been filed across the US. do cis people know this map? this is risk for *adult* trans people across america. FL is already “do not travel.” i must have a few cis followers. please share this. consider if you could live in a country like this.

I had a (very bad) adverse reaction to my first chemo treatment today. If the nurses had been slower, I might have died, type reaction, according to my vitals. So of course my mom minimized it immediately because I'm always hysterical and never exactly fucking right about everything all the time.

Social media companies still haven't figured out it's maybe a bad idea to show people with a (very) recent cancer diagnosis ads about funeral planning. Come the fuck on. At least wait til I've had even one single treatment.

Reskeet if you think Trans women should be allowed to control a swarm of dangerous bees. 🐝

normal people talking about doctors: They're a doctor, you can't say they don't know what they're talking about! They had to undergo YEARS of training and study! an actual doctor: Hmm I think you're sneezing because you're fat

My 9/11 story is that I was unemployed and depressed (hooray dot com crash) so I slept in until about 3pm and woke up wondering why everyone was freaking the fuck out.

Trying to find somewhere to park the fact that I had FOUR separate doctors try to get me accept that symptoms I was experiencing were "just" my fibromyalgia when it turns out I have a mass on my liver that may or may not be cancer. Like, how do we eradicate this medical sexism at the root?

Alas, not only am I not done being Sick, it is possible that I am about to be Even More Sick than I was before. Don't really wanna talk about it right now, will announce when I know more.

Good evening! You will have to get used to me no longer being Sick Girl on this platform. There may be an end in sight to this punishing fatigue soon. Took me way too long to suss out that bad fatigue might be an infection and not just Tuesday, but it's starting to look like I'm actually sick!
