Weak. Ineffective. Failure.

Not sure what role people in Congress think they play in a dictatorship…

Idiots running the country. Why are people electing the least intelligent to positions of authority?

And the orange monster is busy using our troops to end freedom to protest in California. Maybe the billionaires that bought the presidency are concerned that they’ve unleashed a beast they can’t control.

The media is laying the groundwork for the next stage of the assault on universities. ICE is snatching kids off stage as they graduate from school and throwing them in the back of vans. I won’t be surprised when they do the same with professors and other “liberals” in positions of authority.

Reminds me of the Martin Niemöller poem. I think they’re just getting started.

They saw the brown guy and escorted him right out of there - CNN or not. Meanwhile, the NY Times white guy walks back and forth free as hell. Well, the anti-DEI folks must be giddy. That will put people of color right out of the news business - can’t get past the perimeter.

I’d call going to Amazon and buying protective gear responsive, not an escalation. I’d likely keep it in my backpack and hope it’s not necessary. Better to have and not need, than need and not have.

When practically applied to healthcare assessments, hiring processes, mortgage screenings, bail reviews, AI has demonstrated racial/gender bias. I can only imagine a world where artificially intelligent robots are deployed. www.medtechdive.com/news/ucla-en...

Who owns the AI robots and who programs them? Law enforcement or the military? This is a Pandora’s box.

Sadly, they supported MAGA. And, Trump is erasing Black heroes from military history, attacking the National African American Museum, coercing universities to exclude Black students, and threatening to end federal funding for urban public schools. So, f*ck Trump, and his supporters.

Guess it’s time to wear gas masks, bullet proof vests and helmets to protests…

Trump comparing a full-scale invasion and war to boys tussling at the park is complete idiocy. Reminds me of the saying, “Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.”

Elections?

These blue mayors and governors better make sure they have the right folks running their law enforcement. Or, when the president calls for their arrest, they’ll be handcuffed by their own police.

It’s hard to engage in serious policy discussions about healthcare when the future of medicine is uncertain. Feds have cut medical research funding. Physician shortages were a problem, and now med schools are reducing class sizes. Medicaid? Vaccines? Science? Optimism has reached an all-time low.
