As an American, I say good and I hope more businesses follow their lead.

Both of my kiddos were born during the Obama presidency. I had so much hope for our country and its future. But the backsliding has been so intense that now I feel guilty for having brought children into all of this.

Here's a nice chill question... What happens when Dave posts a transphobic, bad-faith question and his follower count starts to drop? Let's find the answer to that one.

And he posted this on the day that Andrew Tate and his brother were released by Romania to the U.S. and are apparently on a private jet headed to Florida. I'm sure they're just being extradited so they can be prosecuted here for their crimes against women and girls, right? Right?!?

I’d rather my tax dollars go to the poor so they can buy food instead of going to billionaires so they can buy more Republicans.

The literal wealthiest man in the world donating hundreds of millions of dollars to a presidential campaign and getting rewarded with a government post where he can award his companies with contracts is the most cartoonish possible rendering of what people warned about after Citizens United.

That last sentence was harsh. Unless you're trying to sound as cruel as one of those Trump supporters? You know you can be angry but also have sympathy at the same time, right? Especially for young children, who didn't vote for this and who don't deserve to suffer because their parents are MAGA.

Looks cold, but beautiful! I appreciate when people post their photos of beautiful scenery. It provides a break amidst all the chaos.

He's not cleaning anything. He's wholesale dismantling. The damage he's doing (and wants to do) to institutions which we the American people depend on is unimaginable to most people, who frankly don't understand how they work and benefit us. Destroying is easy. Thoughtful, useful change isn't.

You win the Internet for this comment! I actually laughed out loud at the sheer yet absurd truth of it.

For the umpteenth time, “free speech” to Elon Musk and the right wing doesn’t mean open debate and factually based reporting. It means “I get to denigrate, abuse and bully my opponents as much as I want with no consequences, and you can’t call it hate speech. It’s free speech.”

Until Democrats correctly label Republicans as the source of the problem, there will not be sufficient pressure for them to change. And while Musk is the despotic supervillain at the heart of this coup, elected Republicans in Congress are the handmaids of his tyranny.
