I think we will this time, club has come a long way since then. Key now is to go into the final with form and hopefully a fully fit squad

Yeah it was abysmal on all levels but people saying that are either, reactionary or seeking attention.
Must admit though I'm fuming tonight 🤣

Bunce certainly is seeming to have an impact, let's hope last year's problem never happen again!

Haha sounds like you will be the tour guide too

Take more than a cold to stop a night out! 🤣

It's a must then, going out out needs maximum fitness!

Thank you, hope you manage to shake it off for the weekend

Same, can't sleep with it either!

Overall, unpopular opinion, I would potentially leave everything to the summer. With PSR I would avoid the inflated market unless a really good deal came up. I just have a feeling, that we are going to be really good from here to end of season regardless, I have 22/23 vibes

An isak injury concerns me more, if I was putting money somewhere it would be into an ST personally
comment in response to
post
Haha great idea, the pressure might get to some though. Imagine it, I have to get these right or I can never watch my team play! I'd spell me own name wrong 🤣

I don't think it's a risk, Eddie isn't using him and calling upon Murphy, Gordon, Joelinton as RW ahead. I think the decision is made, I hope we get some decent value and he receives a positive send off which he deserves

Unlimited memberships means anyone can sign up, I appreciate it is a revenue stream but as you say its keeping real fans out of the ground

I am literally keeping mine for toondle, surely that move is imminent!

Match day will be the interesting one, hopefully the pleasantries last!! Sites like these are all about opinions, I just hope people remain constructive with them

Joelinton here too, it's the fight and the passion. How he gets into the other teams, who doesn't love seeing Joelinton shoving people around while they can hardly move him
comment in response to
post
Now that could be useful!!

Yes please

Apparently he can also sell some of the Botafogo players to generate cash. Does seem odd that it could be done without Lyon raising any money themselves
comment in response to
post
You would imagine given the time they have been given there are some deals to be done, after Bordeaux they won't want another team falling out the league
comment in response to
post
Too good opportunity not too, doesn't happen often in football
comment in response to

I can imagine a number of clubs will be interested, the Lyon situation will have teams taking a close look at deals to be done

Robert, Shearer and Solano, iconic times in my eyes
comment in response to

My mind instantly went to Solano or a fit Woodgate. Some great shouts on here though, I really did like Gillespie. Gazza and Waddle were too early for me to watch with us.
Final answer Solano!

The standing up one is relatively new, it started in the Leicester game when we were 2 up after like 5 minutes, think it was boxing day or there abouts
comment in response to
post
I have to vote one less on a poll of what I think we will do, so a win I have to put draw etc.
If I'm watching at home, I will be standing up first half, if it went well I'll continue, if it didn't I have to move where I am standing or sit down.
Bizarrely in the ground I have no set superstitions
comment in response to

Only if it is the correct deal and value. With FFP so tight, I wouldn't want inflated Jan price. We are in much better shape now compared to 12 months ago, purely on the injury front. Signings would be great don't get me wrong
comment in response to
post
I hope so, we need a good promising player but one we feel ready to use
comment in response to
post
100% agree, I think we are positioned nicely, the only thing that concerns me is an isak injury
comment in response to
post
Yeah was shocked which clubs pulled their players out.... not.
I hope so, one things for sure we have a better situation than last Xmas where the players were dead on their feet
comment in response to
post
Against Antonio or Fullkrug as well physicality will be needed
comment in response to
post
Regards Murphy, Eddie won't do that to a player unless totally necessary, he protects players and reaps the rewards. I did consider Livramento but if we still have no tripps we just open another issue
comment in response to
post
Imagine the carnage on the pitch, opposition flying everywhere!
comment in response to
post
Genuinely could end up Joelinton
comment in response to
post
I would only sign if it's the right player and right deal. With FFP so tight we can't afford inflated Jan costs, such a tough market to work in
comment in response to
post
We do have a good record there, fingers crossed! Just wish we didn't have this break,we were on a high
comment in response to
post
I get the feeling we are back closer to the CL qualifying side than we were at any point last season. So much of that comes from a more stable starting 11 which we just did not have last year, or if we did they were knackered from over playing!
comment in response to
post
Brentford are very good at home, they are pretty poor away. Christmas always throws up odd results, but certainly fixtures we should look to thrive in
comment in response to
post
Would be great to be added please Kev if that's ok
comment in response to
post
Fitness was certainly a big issue for them, Gordon and others. In the back of my mind I'm wondering if we have actually landed in a good place where by starting slower and less intense could help us post xmas
comment in response to

Personally I disagree with the J7 1 game in 6. Willock certainly does transform us, the stats of Willock, J7, Bruno and Longstaff together speaks for itself and got us CL football.
RW has to be addressed but Jan will be tough for that.
ST, we would be looking at a 2nd choice so decent chance in Jan
comment in response to
post
ST I think for me, RW would need to be Mbeumo to happen. CB I think we can get by to the summer personally, 1 Isak injury could derail the season.
Joelinton was great today but he isn't the long term RW option. I do however think the Joelinton and Willock left side pushes Gordon there
comment in response to
post
Definitely the way I would go as well
comment in response to
post
I think it's why we need Willock in the side today again, athleticism will be key
comment in response to
post
As was quite rightly pointed out to me, the Forrest pace is on the wings where Chelseas was down the middle. We are better equipped there for the challenge, although it will still certainly be a challenge!
