Followed by another favorite game of mine this time of year: gunfire or fireworks? MURICA. π

How long does it take for a trend to die? For a market bubble to pop? I am so tired. π₯Ί

The first thing I do when voting is look up the candidates' criminal record. Not because I think any/all convicts shouldn't run, but to check for assault charges, restraining orders, embezzlement, abuse, etc., crimes that make them UNFIT for office. The *looks* I get when I tell people that. π

I can tell you had fun, which makes it even better. π My favorite was the zombie deer story. Honest to god they feel like real zombies sometimes, ignoring all signs of "no" or danger to go after food. π€¦

Good to hear, because that one's been on my list for a while!

I did pick up on that vibe (while trying to stay alive as robot Washington shot me) but I *totally* misunderstood their intention with it. With that in mind, I think they tried to do too much and poorly because I didn't even pick up on any of that. π€¦ I just thought everyone hated it for the ending.

I am so mad now. I finished that game and was like "hmm... weird... and creepy... but fun with a cool ending. Won't play again." And now I'm just *mad* because I had no idea that they were TRYING to push racism!

and the oppressive system around them (the expensive company store, job market, police brutality, etc.). I did not at ALL catch that the writers were pushing the "you're just as bad as them" thing. I thought they were trying to make drama, not ACTUALLY say that?! Wow...it missed the mark there.

Oh god, that part. π¬ Yeah, that was a bit of a weird stretch but I assumed they were trying to go for the grim-dark edgy theme?? I didn't care for that part and ignored it mostly, because it felt forced/dumb. I did like how they portrayed the "normal" citizens (who weren't rebels)

I thought that game was great and the ending was brilliant. I do not get all the hate except- oh right- it teaches "racism bad".π I am clearly missing context here and now I'm curious. Spill thine beef/tea.

I love it! Though I admit I am a very "extra" person in some ways, so I found the enthusiasm refreshing. π
