I’m so very sorry for your loss. I personally know how heart breaking it is to lose a furry family members. 😔

Happy for you Carrie. I may have upset my sister in law (a Chiefs fan) when I sent her The Steve Miller Band’s Fly Like an Eagle after the 3rd TD 😆

Alex I never had a thought but after reading Onyx Storm there are a couple that come to mind. Have you read it yet? I can only say I am in awe of the sheer brilliance of RY’s mind in weaving the story together.

We can add that to the list of things that make you go hmmm.

I spent a good portion of Monday immersing myself Reverence and finished it yesterday. It’s a beautiful work of art. I also very much appreciated your thoughtful afterwords. It added even greater meaning to this already poignant story.

I’m just finishing another one today and then I think I will be curling up with Reverence.

That’s excellent news because I think/hope that Bluesky is a more ethical platform. I would love a signed book.

I saw all the responses on 🧵. I think they have you covered but yes I would definitely suggest Brandi Carlile

That is good news Carrie. I will be hoping for best possible outcome. Just want you to know we are thinking of you and everyone in California. The fires are devastating.

As I look at that post, I think perhaps I am a weirdo. 😂

Nope, not a weirdo…or perhaps you are but then I would be one as well. I don’t listen to audiobooks either. Like you I have given the characters a voice and it wouldn’t match. Beyond that, I wouldn’t be able to maintain an attention span. My mind would just wander off.

It’s hard to choose because there are so many but this photo of the Hassan II Mosque taken our first day in Casablanca is certainly one of them. Incredible architecture.

I suspect there are many words and phrases to describe you but “bad author” most definitely is not one of them. You have proven that to us 16 times over. Hope you have a great 2025.

I loved No Shelter But the Stars and also read Two is a Pattern. Bloom Town is nearing the top of my tbr list. I had a slight detour and read Rebecca Yarros Empyrean Series. So good. If I may recommend one to you, The Piano in the Tree by @johavens.bsky.social is sublime. One of the best this year.
