If you want to help us purchase new tents for our unhoused neighbors, you can make a tax-deductible donation to our group, the South Bay Mutual Aid & Care Club (via our fiscal sponsor). SBMACC is one of the the longest continuously operating mutual aid groups in the South Bay area of Los Angeles.

Anyways, the most succinct telling of this is JFK's quote, "those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable."

There's a reason civil conflict arises in societies with disaffected and alienated youth. Ultimately, what we will see is increasing political violence by younger generations who feel they have no other means to effectuate change. Luigi Mangione was not a one off and he will not be the last.

Younger generations feeling fed up with the system will have no avenue or outlet for their desire for economic and social progress. You remove the avenues for change and young people will feel they are no longer beholden to the social contract and their capacity for violence will increase.

Same for “failure” or “the system is broken”, no it’s succeeding and working exactly as designed.
Also Stafford Beer’s insight “The purpose of a system is what it does.”

The Fedflix video archive (CC0 license) is a great source for older US government and military images. I use ffmpeg to extract still frames from the videos. Takes time to go through it, but for me that's the fun part

Not a cost issue, but...
Blue Wave - Didn't you go far...
I know musically it's probably not good, but it's the only other project with Matt Boulet/Peregrine, his Silmaril folk project is so haunting.
Also Rupert Chappelle - Ozone Music.

used to have this (and the NWW vinyl you mention) but both got lost in so many moves. I do somehow still have all the CDs I ever bought, also recalling that many from these artists 1988-92 suffer from "disc rot", and am afraid to check now.

Thank you. this is the right approach. Simply listening to people rather than attacking them with a pre-established framework always is.

fair enough, maybe I should look at his old stuff more, though I'm trying not to buy gear....
I enjoy Katsunori Ujiie (musictrackjp) 's demos, if you want an accurate representation of basic sound/functionality. No drama, no influencer garbage.

Never got the point of his channel, it’s 80’s nostalgia but for the bland, generic parts everyone knows anyway.
The gear reviews are informative, but a lot of people do that.

Note, attempt to take away one's prosthetic limb can be considered an attack, and therefore one the right to defend themselves with lethal force.

not a 303, uses a phaser with a large number of stages (12-20) and a slow sweep rate as the main effect
