It was Hikari Fukuoka's calling card, the moonsault double stomp. She might have retired a month later (March 28th 1999) but in no way she would leave her last title match in a fizzle but in the biggest bang possible by craving a crater in Azumi Hyuga's chest.

comment in response to post
A DAZN tem tudo... que o CR7 se preocupe em não falhar a AFC Champions Elite para a próxima temporada
comment in response to post

Question would be... which titles could be united for just 2 years until one of the big ones says no more and the title gets split up again

I need my Unit/Team 7 analog... yes, I'm referring to that Team 7 from Naruto, the heroes that bested every bad guy from 2 different series and that would best those Cosmic Hags and the hyperactive youths

SWF, one of the broadcasters that were fused to give us the current SWR (the other, SDR, did jack shit), was responsible for two 6th places in the ESC, one in 1962 and other in 1978. I think they'll be OK with a change... 30 years of NDR had to end sometime

Whilst New Japan has been doing that for the past, say, 30 or some odd years to their supposed "partners" Made Big Japan their bitches in 1997, got the best overall over UWFi and NOAH, well, what do I need to say... they got the main event at Wrestling World 2002 but got buried these past years

Score... 17/20. On Momoe's retirement road, she gets dissected from start to finish... you can't beat the Kongs. And speaking on retirements, in May, Nanae retires after 26 years in the biz, making Aja the only one still active from this match (broken as she may be)... godspeed Nanaracka.
comment in response to post
Awesome Bomb on Momoe, 2 count. Spiral Bomb reversed into ANOTHER Momolatch, broken by Aja. A back slap, 2, two Urakens (only Awesome's one hits), Spiral Bomb, Nanae breaks it. Awesome Splash and the three count. In 17:52, your winners are the tag champions, W Kong.

Kongs get cross-wired and German'd. Amazing no-sells a missile DK just to get German'd again and jacknifed, 2 count. Aja with the can on Momoe but the Kongs get cross-wired again and a Momolatch to Amazing, 2 count. Two Cyclone Kicks (one missed, one hit), ropes. Nanamomo Bomb attempt fails...
comment in response to post
Momoe might avoid an Uraken but not a slap and a brainbuster, 2 count. Implant Buster from Awesome Kong after Nanae hits Momoe by mistake, 2 count. A splash from that Kong, Momoe bridges out. More attempts by Nanamomo to block the Kongs but they get denied (again).
comment in response to post
A Momoe missile DK gets caught by an Aja kick. Momoe doing everything possible to down the massive Aja Kong while Nanae has stopped the Amazing one. The attack rush sequence stops when Aja gives two boots to the gut after catching another Momoe splash. A Momolatch is reversed but a 2 count.
comment in response to post
All in vain because the Kongs go back to the attack but Nanae counters Awesome with a rollup and a 2 count. 2 count after a powerbomb and Aja is back. Both Kongs get tossed to the outside, moonsault by Momoe and Nanamomo finally are on top of the tag champions.
comment in response to post
Aja is walloping Momoe in ring so much she's already bleeding. Amazing Kong in the ring now and more of the same and Aja repeating the same. A little skip in the action, piledriver by Aja, 2 count. Momoe wakes up with a DK spam, tags Nanae who immediately chokes Aja.
comment in response to post
Nanae is the 3WA champion at the time (would be the last), Momoe would retire a couple of weeks later and the Kongs are the 3WA tag champions (last ones). Match starts and the Kongs are sending Nanamomo to an express trip over all of Korakuen (chair bowling included).

A little punch-drunk punchoff offense, both are down and wake up at 9. Even more punches, Honda kicks out at 2. Another Pedigree by Togo and the Bombs Away for the 1-2-3, Dick Togo is the Undisputed KO-D Openweight champion after 26 minutes 24 seconds. 20/20... excellent match to start 2011 DDT.
comment in response to post
The Bombs Away Senton misses, Japanese Leg Roll Clutch by Honda, 2. Two Gamengiris plus a DDT and Honda hits the Jerry Lawler punch just for a 2. Anton again going for the manji, gets cutbacked into a rollup by Togo, 2, crossface again and ropes again. MY GOD WHAT A MATCHUP!!
comment in response to post
DDT by Anton, misses the Jerry Lawler punch from the top, OK-Roll from Togo, seulement deux and to the crossface he goes, 20 minutes, broken up by a bloody Honda. No underhook, superkick and a Diamond Cutter but Honda still kicks out and gets his Pedigree checked.
