I've driven up from Vegas and thru Goldfield, Rhyolite, Death Valley, and up to Tonopah and back. There are lots of regrets on that trip, I wish I would've had more time to check out even more. I jumped on Rt.66 around Downers Grove, IL. It'd be sweet to do the whole run.

It was a desolate spot, I'd love to explore more of the Southwest sometime.

To the left of that breezeway was another open-air court. The roses ran along the wall to your immediate left. Such an interesting spot, the pool and gym were something!

The sheer scale of that area - can you imagine that, re-purposed as artist lofts? Pretty cool place, RIP indeed.

Kim is out of the Northeast US. Here's a screenshot of her insta, it doesn't appear she has a bluesky account.

Thank you! π I got distracted while answering your question and want to share a few fave urbexers with you. Obsidian Urbex (Janine) is in the UK. I can't find a bluesky account for her.
