It’s Friday 21st of Feb! One reason I do these videos is to maintain my Maine accent (Mainetain) by talking to myself before I really talk with anyone else in the day. Also, to show off my mug collection.

Feb 20 and we have snow!

Waiting for this storm to hit with my new Narwhal friend

Tuesday and chilly as we head towards a storm

1/30/25 morning weather report. Getting a bit better at looking at the camera

When I say I’m resourceful, this is what I mean. Used two misprint vinyl signs to hold back the fiberglass flavored cotton candy insulating my workshop. It’s a mindset I picked up growing up in the woods, it’s not hoarding if you use it!

Morning weather report from a Mainer in exile in the South

Good morning Baltimore…the cool kids know what I’m talking about

What is the weather today? Only one way to find out, no other ways, only one.

i stride into the grocery store with two guns, blood from the razor sewn into the waistband of my pants drips down my ass while blood from the razor blade in the tongue of my shoe soaks the escape map that shows me how to get back to my house two miles away. i have forgotten my wallet.

Weather Report: Cold

Daily weather report from a Mainer In Exile

Amazing. I hope future archeologists will look at this and smile.

This is a beautiful tribute.

once again thinking about this passage from David Lynch's book Catching the Big Fish

All too true. Make it weird with no explanation needed.

I made this last night. Then I made 10 of them. Handcuff belt, all Latigo leather, sturdy and supple. Winterfire here I come!

Finished Thief of Time, quite good and fun playing around with James Bond tropes without going overboard and old eastern monk tropes. And chocolates saving the day.

Going to Winterfire (IYKYK) and going to be selling some of these reject-turned-successful-science-experiment paddles I made. I’m quite proud.

Gotta say with physical stores being corporate raided to death and Meta planning on unleashing fake accounts for their own service, capitalism has lost the point of existing. Gotta produce something of value instead of bots and empty stores.

This letter from John Steinbeck to Marilyn Monroe is pretty well known, I guess, though I just read it for the first time a couple minutes ago. I would be more surprised by how funny it is, if I hadn't read Steinbeck's Paris Review interview. In person, apparently, he was a hoot.
