And yes I forgot the tufts on the last batch...

The whole #flamesofwar Volksgrenadier box, less objectives! As you can see, dialling in the amount of blue to add to the snow slurry has not been very consistent... #paintingminiatures #nerdlings #ww2

No worries! Look forward to seeing the output!

This is a variation on that theme that my friend built. He added pipe cleaners to have debris flying off, along with some large clump foliage off shoots.

Yeah, I make similar things for burning tank markers. They are some gardening wire glued to a washer base, then glue "clump foliage" the armatures and the base. Soak it in watered down pva glue so it hardens up, then paint as needed.

Some close ups of the HQ platoon plus one of my favourite teams "your hearing loss is not service related". Finally, a shot of the whole force done so far. Out of the army box, the 8cm mortars, 7.5cm infantry guns and PaK40 are left. #flamesofwar

The true risky move is to airbrush whilst on mute and hope the compressor doesn't randomly come on during the unmuted bits...

It is. Though there is a surprisingly high number of figures without smocks (generally wearing great coats instead) so it's less camo than my British Airlanding force.
