Ray Bradbury claimed it’s impossible to write 52 bad stories in a row. I’m testing that theory. #52in25

Gov. Mills is a strong woman. And we all know how much Trump hates strong women.

Aw, man. He clearly got into Pete Hegseth’s “water glass.” 🥃

Yes. We have a lot of decent options surprisingly.
Our weather is generally monotone, but our plates offer a lot of pizzazz. 😬

I’m sorry; I see you’re in Germany so it’s probably tomorrow for you as I write this. I’m a boring old GenX mom in America (family is from Bamberg originally fwiw.) I’m sorry you were having a bad day. Hope the ice cream helps a little. Depression is no joke; be kind to yourself.

I’ve been debating getting an Alice Cooper (proceeds support the charity teen centers he funds) personalized plate and I feel like me seeing your post is the universe telling me to do it. Just in case you haven’t seen them, they’re pretty cool. Thank you for mentioning him.

We need a reminder command like Reddit has. And no, I have no clue how to do it myself. (But I am very appreciative of those who design such useful features.)

I have 2 that I never finished, and they haunt me. Not because I wish I finished them, but because they were highly regarded by others. I probably need to work on that. 😬

Like 5 or 6? Yep. But complete them all, not so much.

Yeah, as much as I want to say they all knew better, maybe they “should have” but honestly didn’t. It’s privileged to think everyone has the same access to quality information/education, and we lose by alienating those who don’t. GOP wants to decrease the education level of the avg American voter.

Aw. My grandfather used to eat butter on saltines with little squares of processed American cheese on top, as he watch his tiny black and white tv in the kitchen on a sparkly/speckled table. Thanks for bringing up that old memory. 🥰

No, but forgetting to let my Neti pot’s boiled water cool down first does. 😖 (I’m a pro at crying.)

Danes would prefer this as their leader over Trump, no contest.

If you (like me) can’t handle another person saying “Everything happens for a reason,” I’d recommend “When Bad Things Happen to Good People” by Rabbi Harold Kushner. It helped me many years ago when I was widowed. So sorry for your loss.

Can it be terror or does it need to be horror? If terror will do, I’d recommend Rebecca by Daphne DeMaurier (the movie is a delight too).

Absolutely correct. But don’t call me Shirley.
