You should also get it renewed if has been 5 years and you get a bad/dirty wound. Vet suggested I get mine redone after some bad scratches from an outdoor cat who didn’t want to get in a carrier.

Yeah, 100% always get appropriately certified things. I’m a crazy person for my woodworking safety though and wear safety glasses (prescription) + face shield when I’m using my lathe.
Trying to get the best gear I can afford for protesting, just in case. Cost/benefit analysis is a pain.

I’ve always worn those while doing wood working and have had multi pound chunks of wood bounce off a face shield without issue after breaking free from a lathe.

Protest I attended had a nice mix of face coverings and not. Though there was one woman who walked up and down the whole protest line twice trying to get face pics of everyone.
I covered up because I have bad anxiety and it helped. When people took pictures I just turned away or put my sign up.

I haven’t done any pressure canning but I’ve done pickling and some other stuff. Just bought a pressure canner before the prices go crazy. Got a few cases of bell jars in the basement from past things. Highly recommend the Ball Blue Book.
