I think I've just realised why so many applicants get the motivation letter wrong when applying for phd places. The materials often tell you to explain your motivation for applying. But its real purpose is to get you to explain why *we* should be motivated to hire you. We should be more transparent!

So happy to have this available to the community. If we want to improve the research, we need to be mindful of all the methods that are used in psychology. Many developmental scientists use existing data-now examples how they can be Registered Reports! #devpsych
