I'm not a Starmer fanboy whatsoever, but the message is right, and I just hope more people start paying attention!

So infrastructure is the reason, not because Wales isn't able to produce the resource for itself...
And I'd suggest it may remain that way whilst it's cheaper to do so. But to be clear, it isn't because Wales can't generate its own sufficient energy, because it clearly can. 👍

Not sure why Scotland would be supplying North Wales when Wales as a whole is a net exporter of electricity, generating twice as much as it uses?!

I'm not even glorifying the article with a click...
I would suggest the lions share of media coverage they appear to be getting has sold them as the 'de facto' opposition, and Starmer is simply responding to questions asked, and has given one of the most factual answers I've heard him give!

She seems to be getting some extra media attention lately... being planted in our brains again.
Feels quite intentional, too.
Badenoch replacement?
What a sewer British politics has become!

She was sacked under May for colluding with a foreign government (like treason) and if memory serves, 'replaced' as home secretary by Braverman (when we thought it couldn't get any worse!).

How many of the 13,000 pollsters were from Wales, NationCymru? I can't see the info in the article.
Also, no mention of correlations such as distrust in the misleading MSM, rise of misinformation on social media platforms, or increase in anti-immigration rhetoric from the right wing bigots!!

We should be embarrassed to even know who he is. And he's not the only one in politics we should be embarrassed know about as they shouldn't be anywhere near the job in the first place, but he's certainly got the potential to cause even more irreparable damage to the country 🤦♂️

I can't shake the feeling that their (his) only objective is to create harm to the country and for the highest bidder.
It's also worrying that swathes of people fail to see through previous failures and the grift!

Assuming you're referring to the food standards aspect? There's a reference to it here on the governments website, and it's worded as such that only beef is included in the deal (with no reduction in UK food standards)

From what little I've seen, any imports must adhere to British standards so that essentially boils down to organic beef (hence the beef statement) and no chlorinated chicken.
I believe we already have some of the best (British) beef in the world already, and I don't plan on buying anything else.
