A. Cause he's already in the terminal throes of alzheimers post brainworms, lol B. Cause we live in a kleptocracy/oligarchy & 1/3rd of our country is either hateful or morons & voted trump in.

Young lady...as an old white guy, you two are the reason I still have hope! Bless you and stay strong and safe๐Ÿ’—

To further that, you've *been* winning, and that's WHY life sucks. And yet, the death grip that conservative billionaires have over mainstream media (yes, that includes most "liberal" news outlets) effectively brainwashes some people into blaming the libs no matter what. ๐Ÿ™„

See also : non-black POC thinking they can aspire to whiteness by aligning with the rich/the right and/or embodying some level of racism towards black people. All tokens get spent. Period. I understand the urge to shed minority status, but it's a delusion that hurts us all. (Credit to Adam Ellis)

Because it's a fascistic militant country, currently enacting a genocide? Once the genocide is done and the Palestinians are dead, the right will go back to hating jews & Israel, too. Remember, they've made bed with literal nazis. They don't see jews as white nor human, and all tokens get spent.

Could be? Lol. Will be. The conservative hate machine relies on having out groups to salaciousously hate on. Soon, the ire against trans people and Mexican immigrants will dry up, and others will be next. The only question is how many will already be dead when the cycle finds its next victims.

As a minority, I have a rational fear of anyone who voted trump. I don't like that though, as I know there's a sizable number of otherwise moral trump voters who were swindled into voting for a hateful, insurrectionist, rapist, and thereby associating with nazis, amoung other wildly bigoted groups.

I consider myself to be a libertarian leftist, though I make an effort to converse and humanize down the aisle, and entertain different or centrist lines of thought. It has been harder to do so lately.

Idk which bill you're talking about, as Texas has had 32 anti trans bills filed since the election results, and idk how many have passed or if they're still being processed. Iran, however, is a bad example. They tend to force gay people onto HRT, thus effectively causing gender dysphoria.

That's a complicated topic, for sure. Inevitably, while every anti-trans bill passed in a red state is passed by conservatives, every anti trans bill struck down in a red state is struck down, atleast in part, by conservatives who prioritize the humane treatment of minorities. 1/4๐Ÿงต๐Ÿ‘‡

I'm sickened that my blue state senators voted yea on this bullshit. Sickened that I voted for them. Utterly disappointed AOC hasn't become the ranking dem member of the house oversight comitee, fuck Nancy Pelosi for that. But I will never vote red, nor abstain. Trump's a monster, McConnell, too.

'How awful that is' as though any conservative elected or in the running is any less transphobic? The key difference between dems and conservatives is that conservatives will campaign to take away trans rights leading up to a genocide, and *some dems* will merely watch and vote yea. 1/2 ๐Ÿงต๐Ÿ‘‡

They only care about those things when they apply to affluent, straight white men. If not talking about them, it shifts to being about their 'right' to abuse or opress others. And yet, 53% of white women vote against their rights and interests in the name of benefiting from white supremacy. Smh.
