I think old YouTube would have had a chance, but it became less about creator content and more about what large advertisers felt comfortable marketing on. It killed the personal aspect the creators developed. And it's been struggling to recapture that ever since.

The biggest problem we're facing in this country is currently" that's a you problem, suck to be a liberal," and that's what they use to justify trash behavior. But the moment bad shit happens to that side, it's " we need to come together, and be better people." We need to normalize being petty.
