Doing my best to keep calm so I bake bread and pies, cook soups & stews, and wash it all down with whiskey.

Here's a thought: They can just loop her comment along with Scrooge's, "and decrease the surplus population."

Meet the moment. Wow.
We "meet the moment" with my Sunday afternoon knitting friends. Does that count?

For some reason I keep thinking about Scrooge's phrase, "and decrease the surplus population."

Probably because he's always thought of this sacred day solely as a day to golf.

Well it's a good thing I'll be busy in my garden today putting in a couple rows of peas and several mounds of summer squashes...I can't manage without patty pans.
But I still will hopefully have time to make that berry cobbler you shared. Yummy.

What I really mean is did the tax payers foot the bill for the actual dinner party? We already know bazillionaires paid to get into the joint.

Whooo Boy. I'm a little slow on the update this Friday pm, so I needed to read this twice to get it. Funny stuff. Well done.

She could just cut to the chase and tell orange grab 'em by the you-know-what hubby who she despises to keep the Dept of Ed in place....you know, so the kids who get free breakfast and lunch from Title I programs can eat at school. That would be pretty good for their health and well-being.

No no no. Before that ... he disrespected a gold star family during the campaign of 2016. He should have been shunned into oblivion after that.

While flipping channels while working out at the gym I'd stop at CNN for a while. Now I can change that channel faster than the treadmill will go!

Rough day, Kevin? And now you'll need to get a new coffee mug too.

Pardon my surprise, but I'd actually think they'd limit people OVER 65 getting a vaccine ... since it's increasingly plausible that their main goal is to kill off as many old folks getting Medicare, Social Security, and Medicaid as possible.

I know it's a lot of hard work, but I think it's time you wrote a sequel to "Allow Me To Retort" so you can REALLY tell us what you think.

I had more self-control when you-know-who named himself "in charge" of The Kennedy Center. But I'm afraid my favorite's days are numbered too.

It's the modern version of shunning someone. Good for you Adam to get this going.

Ignorant is an adjective I'm thinking of. There is a string of others better fit to describe that odious, orange, lying, disgraceful, thoughtless, OLD, soulless .... oh for heavens sake ... I'd better get back to work now.

Can't go back in time, but just think if ALL the parents with young children had voted for Kamala, we wouldn't be reading this today.

Well cry me a river, I've got tears streaming now since I just watched this twice when I should be working. Groper Cleveland....so funny.

Well done Mr. Metz and to the folks at The Atlantic for realizing no words were necessary. Quite the trick for people who use words all day, every day. Congratulations to all.

True, but where's the outrage from those who would have yelled their heads off if Biden or Obama had done something so disgusting and foolish. I wonder if they know how to spell hypocrisy.
